Creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce
Creators are the life force of the LinkedIn social ecosystem. They inspire and educate by sharing their knowledge, ensuring all members can learn and grow from the LinkedIn community regardless of their personal network. There are so many credible, knowledgeable, inspiring people sharing on the platform — the creators tools we’ve build are all about helping them shine and getting them in front of the right people.
Follow LinkedIn Guide for Creating to get insights and inspiration for sharing and growing your audience on LinkedIn.
LinkedIn for Creators
Creator Microsite
As part of our strategic investment in creators, we launched a site dedicated to sharing tips, best practices, and resources for creators looking to build an audience on LinkedIn

Show off your content with a fresh profile update
We spruced up the Activity section of the LinkedIn Profile to more visibly display content. Whether it’s images, videos, newsletters or documents, you get to choose the content type your Activity section shows first. This updated helps creators better showcase their content and enables all members to quickly find and engage with content on others’ profiles, leading to more professional connections and opportunities.
We have many amazing creatives on LinkedIn whose work I love to learn and take inspiration from. Like Kevin Parry's delightful animations 👾 , Karen X. Cheng's AI powered filmmaking tips 🎬 , Mel Milton's beautiful Marvel concept art 🎨 , and Shadé Zahrai MBA LLB's behavioral science strategy videos 💡 (just to name a few). I’ve loved seeing their work come alive right on their profiles with this redesign.
Post & Audience Analytics
Insights are crucial for creators to learn from in order to develop their brand and grow their audience.
To ensure creators had insight into their performance, I re-designed individual post analytics for maximum clarity as well as introduced a new dashboard housing aggregated post analytics, top performing posts, and audience analytics.
Featured on LinkedIn’s Live Event for the analytics go-to-market
To help members learn how to get the most out of these new tools, I sat down with Geri Silver at LinkedIn For Creator’s live event, How to get started with creator analytics, which quickly topped the page’s charts with 32K viewers.
Creator Mode
The feature that started it all in 2021, kickstarting the LinkedIn’s creator strategy by helping members access specialized sharing tools, analytics, and get discovered by potential followers.
Over the years, we continued to build additional value into Creator Mode with updates such as expanding access to live video and newsletters.
In 2024, we sunsetted the Creator Mode setting. Over the years, it has helped our members take their content to the next level but is no longer necessary as the platform has evolved to be able to provide these features to all members.
LinkedIn Messenger
Private conversations are where the magic happens — the moments that change members’ lives. Where they land new jobs, learn from each other, build new relationships and strengthen old ones. As the world’s largest professional network, LinkedIn is where you can be just a message away from a new opportunity.
Reply-To Specific Messages
Members can now reply to specific messages within a conversation thread as a reference, especially in a group chat where there may be multiple discussion topics at one time, driving deeper member-to-member conversations.
Quality >>>
Ensuring members have high quality experiences is paramount, so we’re investing in all those little details that amount to a seamless experience. One such update is this change to reaction notification copy, where we now specify which message the reaction was to. This small wording change makes a huge difference in crafting clear and efficient workflows for members.
